Uncertainty; Ascertained

Uncertainty.

It’s the feeling you get in your cap and gown, diploma in hand, name called over loud-speaker.
It’s the feeling you get when inundated with intense interrogation in an intimidating interview.
It’s the feeling you get when the lights have dimmed, cell phones silenced, crowd in abeyance.
It’s the feeling you get the split second after you give it your all, heart thumping, silence foreboding.
It’s the feeling you get after you click “send,” awaiting reciprocation in the form of “unread.”
It’s the feeling you get when the shared togetherness is shattered in a single, striking instant.
It’s the feeling you get when you see his name with a green light go, but can’t press “call.”
It’s the feeling you get when you spot a familiar face in a sea of unknown, as your heart skips a beat.
It’s the feeling you get right before the wheels hit the runway, coupled with a sigh of relief.

Uncertainty.

Embrace it.
Appreciate it.
Revel in it.
Thrive in it.
Learn from it.
Grow from it.

Best,
Phoebe
