Berry Good

The best purchase I’ve made since 2013 has been this single-serve Oster My Blend blender. I can whip up a smoothie in minutes and it’s been great during my baking endeavors. Quick and easy clean-ups and the portion size is perfect for just me. One of my favorite smoothies to make is this antioxidant-packed blend that gives your daily three fruit servings in one go. Half a cup equates to one serving so it makes it super easy to measure out the ingredients. I’ve been substituting this for my morning coffee for the past week. The first couple days were rough, although I was impressed of how full I felt (the benefits of flaxseed!) because my stomach is usually grumbling by 11:30am, but as I got past my coffee withdrawals I could finally focus on all this newfound energy!



Makes Approximately 20 Ounces | Under 300 Calories!

Ingredients Needed:

1/2 cup of almond milk
1/2 cup of non-fat greek yogurt (not pictured)
2 Tbsps. Ground Flaxseed
1 Tsp. Spirulina
1/2 cup of halved strawberries
1/2 cup of frozen mixed berries
1/2 cup of blueberries


  1. Pour in the almond milk and add the strawberries, frozen mixed berries, and blend.
  2. When smooth, add the yogurt and blueberries.
  3. Lastly, add the flaxseed and spirulina.
  4. Sweeten to your preference if needed.
