The feeling of red over your eyes and the drumming in your ears.
From my observations, I have seen two different types of anger. The first are people who show their anger to anyone and everyone. They act upon it and in the process often hurt the people around them. The second type of anger is one where the person keeps it all inside, which ends up only hurting themselves.
We have all felt this emotion, however after a recent argument with a close friend, I came to this realization: don’t let the sun go down before you have resolved your anger. There are so many other things to worry about in our lives then to dwell on what in the future will seem insignificant. I have learned that sometimes all it takes is to be the bigger person and to ask yourself these two questions.
Why did he/she react the way they did?
What would you do if you were in the other person’s shoes?
These questions will change your perspective and this will make all the difference when having to confront this person in the future.
Life is too short to be focused on negative emotions and it is only by letting go are we able to move forward. We may have many sunsets in our lives but let us make each and every one better than the last.
